Ahmed Tamjid Aijazi is a Pakistani journalist, public speaker [1] and political analyst [2] based in Dubai. He is a special correspondent for Daily Hurriyat News and the ex-Editor News (Web) of AAJ TV. He has previously worked as consultant for ILIM TV, a Dubai based Pakistani TV Channel. He has also worked as News Producer in Roshni TV. Tamjid Aijazi writes occasionally for Spider of DAWN Group, CIO Pakistan [3] and Weekly Friday Special, Karachi.

Education


Tamjid Aijazi graduated from National University of Emerging Sciences.[4] After graduation, he did various self-directed courses from The Poynter Institute for Media Studies, Florida and is currently enrolled in Masters in Media Management at Institute of Business Management.

Background


Tamjid Aijazi joined Roshni TV as a News Producer in May 2006. During this time, he contributed extensively to the largest IT magazine of Pakistan, Spider and did cover stories on YouTube Censorship in Pakistan, IPTV and Home Automation. He worked for AAJ TV for three months from October 2007, before shifting to UAE in January 2008. Tamjid Aijazi, working in close collaboration with Bruce Falconer of Mother Jones Magazine, broke the news of Blackwater Operations in Pakistan [5] in November 2007. Tamjid Aijazi re-joined AAJ News in June 2010. At present, he is leading the web team for AAJ TV, a renowned Pakistani TV channel.

Family


Ahmed Tamjid Aijazi was born in Hyderabad. He is married to Sana Aijazi, a Defence Analyst. Tamjid Aijazi lives in Dubai.

Ahmed Tamjid Aijazi is a regular guest speaker at the National University of Emerging Sciences, Institute of Business Management, AIMS Institute of Human Development and various other forums. Tamjid Aijazi comments on propaganda techniques, clash of civilizations and politics in South Asia.

Upcoming Book


Ahmed Tamjid Aijazi is currently authoring a book on the insights of Pakistani Media. The book is titled "Weapons of Mass Deception" and is planned to be launched in December 2012.
