He started his career on television from AAJ News channel with his program Bolta Pakistan. This program got fame shortly because of outspoken attitude of him and his co-host Mushtaq Minhas. This program format introduced a new dimension to Television based political talk shows. Nusrat Javed and his partner moved to Duniya TV to host same kind of talk show with name Dunya Mere Agey", but after few months both came back to AAJ News channel to resume their famous program Bolta Pakistan.
